Grumbacher Vine Charcoal is made by slowly burning tightly packed twigs in a kiln without air, producing sticks of carbon. Vine charcoal, unlike willow charcoal, is produced in a range of hardnesses determined by heating time, resulting in different shades of deep gray. The vine used in producing these charcoal sticks is carefully inspected for quality, resulting in consistently smooth stick that produces a uniform tone regardless of pressure. The assortment contains twelve 3-packs each in extra-soft, soft, medium and hard. It also includes six 12-packs each in extra-soft and soft and three 12-packs each in medium and hard. Six carded sticks of medium are also included. No display unit available. All items are peggable and can be merchandised accordingly.
